Free First Wednesdays

Please join us for free on the first Wednesday of each month, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., beginning Wednesday, October 1. This free day replaces our Free Second Saturday afternoons, and allows us to provide a full day of creative and fun experiences for all.

The Bay Area Discovery Museum provides a portion of our audience with free or subsidized educational services. In 2007, attendance at free community events and during monthly free hours exceeded 28,000 people. Click here for more information about our Community Partners programs.

Donation Requests

The Museum fulfilled donation requests from over 600 school and community organizations in 2007.

Requests must contain ALL of the following:

Written/typed on your organization's letterhead
Have a description of the event
Contain an enclosed self-addressed stamped envelope (#10 size)

Due to high numbers of requests, we will not be able to fulfill any requests for donations which do not include all 3 requirements.
